Baden-Baden with a dog: walks, stops & tips

Travelling with a dog? The Rebland is made for it: vineyards, forest and trails begin right outside the door, and the town of Baden-Baden is lovely to explore with a dog too. Your dog is welcome with us after a quick word.

Walking with your dog

Paths lead straight from the apartment through the vineyards and into the adjoining forest – ideal for the morning round or an extended tour. The walk to the Geroldsau Waterfall in the shady Grobbach valley is popular too, perfect for warm days. In the vineyards, please be considerate of the vines and of wildlife during breeding season.

Town & Lichtentaler Allee

A stroll through town is lovely with a dog too: the Lichtentaler Allee, the famous park along the Oos river, is a delight to walk on the lead. Note that dogs must be kept on a lead in town and in busy places.

Stops & spas

Many inns and wine taverns in the Rebland have terraces where dogs are welcome – it's best to ask in advance. Important to know: dogs are not allowed in the spas (Caracalla, Friedrichsbad). So plan your spa visit so your dog is looked after.

Good to know

Your dog is warmly welcome with us after a quick word (a small stay fee applies). For tips on the loveliest walk, just ask us. Remember a bowl, water for the way and poop bags.
